Ensis Papro is one of six business units of Ensis, an unincorporated joint venture between CSIRO of Australia and Scion of New Zealand. Ensis' vision is to provide leading science to transform and enhance the economic, environmental and social benefits from forests and forest industries. With a budget of $7 million Ensis Papro covers the pulp, paper and packaging segments of this industry. Approximately 50% of the budget is from government contracts, one third of which is related to research on packaging.
