The Packaging Science Program is located in the college of Applied Science and Technology. The program offers 30 undergraduate courses and 12 graduate courses in packaging, covering a wide variety of topics in materials, containers, production systems, distribution, marketing, regulations and product/packaging testing. The graduate program offers both a traditional masters degree course format as well as an accelerated format for industry professionals. The program also conducts packaging testing and research. Main areas of research include the measurement of the distribution environment and shock and vibration testing.
