Mission statement
Create an active working group in flexible packaging issues in order to identify necessary areas for research and development. The goal is to harmonize technology concerns between materials, packaging machines, packed goods and process issues.

This new working group has the intention to introduce a new field of research and development in the IAPRI concept. Flexible Packaging has a growing share of now roughly 15% in the global packaging markets and is especially preferred in developing countries.
Flexible Packaging needs the integration of several technologies in the fields of:
- packaging materials
- packaging machines
- packed goods
- and several process oriented fields, also printing
